India is the second largest consumer and producer of tobacco. And not to deny, it’s impacting the youth of our nation in a negative manner, that too at a greater level.
According to a Global Adult Tobacco Survey of 2016-17, Nearly 267 million adults who are 15 years and above in India, which actually accounts for 29% of all adults, that is the Youth, are users of tobacco!
It is important to educate them about the ill effects and educate more on the preventive methods. Teach them about ‘Positive Addiction’, and get them to say NO to Tobacco.
